Hey guys! I wanted to take a moment to say thanks for visiting my page from week to week. I can’t tell you how much fun I have been having sharing my recipe creations with you all. Your feedback and comments have made this project of mine so worthwhile.
So, May is an unusually busy month. I’ll be doing some traveling and I’ll also be diving into new territory. Here’s what I have in store:
- I’m attending the Everything Food Conference in Salt Lake City! So, you know I’ll be writing about it, gushing all over it, and taking some fun photos while I am there. I’m pumped.
- Videos Videos Videos! I’m all about learning to make my first food video. I’ve never made one so it’s going to be a work in progress but I’ll share everything I learn along the way. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
- Picmonkey has become my go-to for making pinnable Pinterest pins. I’ll share what I’ve learned so far, everything from creating vertical pins to finding the right font.
This week, I thought it would be fun to invite you to my workspace. Here is a peek behind-the-scenes to kimchichick!
We have one big West facing window in our living room so I work with what I have. Nothing fancy but it works for me! I like using natural light and a reflector to lighten up some shadows. I always have my camera mounted on a tripod unless I take overhead shots. And of course, my buddy Mia keeps me company while I run back and forth from the kitchen to the window. This is her usual, I’m over it pose.
